The Richards Bay staff are specialists in the Beauty industry, bringing expertise and devotion to our topics. All our tutors are Internationally Qualified Assessors and professional therapists with many years of experience.

Small classes are maintained with a maximum ratio in theory of 1 Educator to 25 Learners and 1 Educator to 10 learners on a Practical Level. This is the strength of our 100% success in the Health, Beauty and Skincare examination. The Beauty Specialist Training Centre’s success is built upon its commitment and passion for excellence. We seek to work with those individuals who share these same values.

The BSTC school in Richards Bay is run by Louise Gelderblom who has been a qualified practicing therapist for the past 31 years and owner of Elegance Health & Day Spa Clinic for 27 years.

Louise trained in 1980 at Stellenbosch Academy where she successfully completed the CIDESCO Diploma. She was selected to work as a make-up artist at SABC-TV Auckland Park for 3 months, were she gained wonderful experience in TV-make-up. She worked in various beauty salons from 1981-1984. It was in 1984 when she started her own business Elegance Beauty & Slimming Clinic in Empangeni. As a successful salon owner Louise trained in Paris, Germany and Italy for various International product houses. In 2009 Louise trained in Texas to further her qualifications in Permanent Make-up as a trainer.

Our school is dedicated to excellence in service delivery. Each year has shown growth, with the introduction of extra courses, such as Hot Stone massage, Indian Head massage, Permanent Make-up and Nail Technology. Introducing new, innovative concepts and courses forms an integral part of keeping up with the trends of the profession ensuring the industry's requirements are provided by our graduate
