This is an excellent follow on course to the ITEC Beauty Specialist Diploma. It is ideal for the therapist who wants to further her qualification and knowledge in the ever growing Health & Beauty Industry and also be able to offer intensive, specialized treatments to her clientele.

Course Contents:

• The main aim of the ITEC Level 4 Diploma in Advanced Skincare is to enable learners to gain the necessary practical and theoretical skills in order to provide Advanced Skincare Treatments.

ITEC Level 3 Diploma in Facial Electrical Treatments
(Prerequisite Beauty Specialists Diploma)

The candidate will study the theory of all treatments as well as electrical science, contraindications and recognition of skin diseases and disorders all of which are an important part of the training as well as the underpinning knowledge and skills required to successfully perform the treatments.

Evidence of treatments is also required to be completed for this award. The evidence of treatments ensure that a variety of clients must be consulted and treated in all the Electrical Treatments and the outcomes of the treatment documented in order to gain experience of working with a variety of clients and conditions whilst still under supervision.

ITEC Level 3 Diploma in Diet & Nutrition for Complementary Therapists

The candidate will study the theory of the main nutrients required for a healthy diet as well as deficiencies, disorders and key illnesses associated with diet. Additionally they will develop underpinning knowledge and skills required to successfully compose a dietary plan.

Case studies are also required to be completed for this award. The case studies ensure that a variety of clients are consulted and the outcomes of any dietary changes must be documented in order to gain experience of working with a variety of clients and conditions whilst candidates are still under supervision.
